Where Can I Rent a Trailer in Gun Barrel City, TX?

Where Can I Rent a Trailer in Gun Barrel City, TX?

If you're searching for trailer rental in Gun Barrel City, TX, the short answer is Kaufman Trailer Rentals. We're based in Kemp, a short drive northwest of Gun Barrel City off Highway 274, and we serve the whole Cedar Creek Lake area as part of our regular route.

We're not a national chain with a call center. We're a locally owned outfit, and our whole setup is built around self-service. You reserve online, show up, and unlock the trailer yourself with a smart-lock system called Lockii. No counter, no waiting on an attendant, no office hours to work around.

Trailer Rental Gun Barrel City TX: What's in Our Fleet

We keep a straightforward fleet. No gimmicks, no trailers we can't actually deliver.

Most Gun Barrel City renters are after dump trailers for yard and lake-lot cleanup, or utility trailers for hauling equipment to and from the water.

• 14k hydraulic dump trailers - $150 per 24 hours
• 14k car haulers
• Enclosed cargo trailers
• 20' open utility trailers
• Junk removal / dumpster-style cleanout service

Contactless Pickup Means You're Not Waiting on Us

Gun Barrel City is a lake town. Weekends fill up fast, and a lot of projects don't run on a 9-to-5 schedule. That's why our pickup is contactless and available 24/7 through Lockii.

You book your trailer, get your access code, and hook up whenever it works for your schedule. Early morning before the lake traffic picks up, or late at night after a job runs long, the trailer is there and unlocked for you.

Common Jobs Around Cedar Creek Lake

Gun Barrel City and the rest of the Cedar Creek Lake community generate a specific kind of trailer work. Dock repairs leave behind old lumber and hardware. Lake lots need brush and debris cleared before building season. Boats, jet skis, and lawn equipment all need to move between storage and the water.

A 14k hydraulic dump trailer handles most of the debris hauling, whether it's old decking, storm debris, or a yard full of brush. The 20' open utility trailers are a good fit for moving mowers, ATVs, or dock materials. Car haulers get used for boats on trailers, project vehicles, or anything with wheels that needs a lift from point A to point B.

Because we're based in Kemp, Gun Barrel City sits on our regular delivery path along with Mabank and the rest of the Cedar Creek Lake shoreline. Local pickup or delivery keeps turnaround fast instead of waiting on a trailer coming from across the metro.

Cleanouts and Junk Removal

Lake houses turn over a lot. Renters move out, owners update a property, or a storm leaves a mess behind. For that we offer a junk removal and dumpster-style cleanout service separate from our standard trailer rentals.

The 3-day rental option gives you time to fill it at your own pace, which works well for a weekend cleanout project. If you need it loaded and hauled off the same day, the live load option is built for that.

• Junk removal, 3-day rental: $350
• Junk removal, live load: $250

What to Bring When You Pick Up

Self-service works best when you show up ready. Here's what to have on hand.

• A vehicle with the correct hitch and wiring for the trailer class you booked
• Your reservation confirmation and Lockii access code
• A valid driver's license matching your booking
• Tie-down straps or chains for whatever you're hauling
• Work gloves if you're loading debris or equipment
