Where Can I Rent a Trailer in Elmo, TX?

Where Can I Rent a Trailer in Elmo, TX?

If you live in Elmo and need to rent a trailer, the closest option is Kaufman Trailer Rentals, based in Kemp, about 14 miles away. Elmo sits on US-80 between Terrell and Wills Point, in a stretch of old farm country where people still haul hay, clean out barns, and tow equipment between properties. A pickup truck bed only goes so far on those jobs.

We're a locally owned trailer rental company, not a national chain. Our yard runs on a self-service Lockii smart-lock system, so you can pick up a trailer any time, day or night, without waiting on an office to open.

The Kemp Yard: 14 Miles, About 18 Minutes from Elmo

From Elmo, the drive to our Kemp yard takes about 18 minutes. Head out on US-80 and work your way down toward Kemp. It's a short enough trip that you can grab a trailer in the morning and still have a full day to work on your property, whether that's near the Elmo community park or out on a rural lot off the highway.

Because pickup is self-service, there's no appointment to schedule around. You reserve online, show up when it works for you, and unlock the trailer with the code sent to your phone.

Trailers That Fit Elmo's Common Projects

Elmo and the surrounding farm country generate a specific kind of job: acreage cleanup, old barn and shed teardown, moving equipment between properties, and the occasional vehicle that needs hauling. Our fleet is built around that kind of work.

• 14k hydraulic dump trailer - best for barn teardown debris, brush clearing, and acreage cleanup where you need to dump and go without shoveling by hand
• 14k car hauler - for moving trucks, tractors, or equipment between properties
• Enclosed cargo trailer - for hauling tools, furniture, or anything that needs to stay dry and out of sight
• 20' open utility trailer - for lumber, fencing material, or general flatbed hauling

24/7 Self-Service Pickup with Lockii

Every trailer in our Kemp yard is on a Lockii smart-lock system. That means you can pick up or drop off a trailer at any hour, including early morning before a long day of cleanup or late evening after you finish a job near Elmo.

There's no staff member you need to coordinate with. You book online, get your access code, and head to the yard whenever it fits your schedule.

• Driver's license
• Valid insurance or proof of coverage for towing
• A hitch rated for the trailer you're renting
• Safety chains and a working trailer light hookup on your tow vehicle

Dump Trailer Pricing: $150 per 24 Hours

Our 14k hydraulic dump trailers rent for $150 per 24-hour period. That's enough time to load up at your property near Elmo, haul to the dump site, and return the trailer the next day.

If you're dealing with a full property cleanout instead of just debris hauling, we also offer junk removal and dumpster-style cleanout service. That runs $350 for a 3-day rental, or $250 for a live load, where we handle the loading for you.
